Our Story

maple cypress began in 2018 when a small group of language educators recognised a persistent gap in how languages were taught. Traditional classroom settings, while valuable, often left students struggling to apply their knowledge in real conversations.

We established our practice with a straightforward philosophy: effective language learning happens when instruction adapts to the learner rather than forcing the learner to adapt to rigid curricula.

Starting with just three tutors in Sydney, we have grown to serve students across Australia through both in-person and online sessions. Our network now includes educators fluent in fourteen languages, each bringing not only linguistic expertise but genuine passion for cross-cultural communication.
